Your HealthYour health is actually what you make out of it. Health is different in different people's eyes. Somebody who is not doing so well still might feel that they are pretty healthy. Some people may be doing extremely well and not feel that they are healthy. This could be due to the way they feel, the way their body acts. There can be physical lethargy, mental lethargy. The word health encompasses a lot of things and it can be difficult to say, "I am perfectly healthy." The body does numerous, numerous functions. It demands a lot of nutrients and also a lot of elimination of the waste has to happen. Health really starts when your elimination is working well. There are major organs of elimination like the kidney is a major organ of elimination. Your digestive tract is an organ of elimination. The lungs are organs of elimination. The skin is an organ of elimination. And if these are not working properly, then elimination is not happening and then attaining health is really not possible. You can imagine if you are cleaning your house and you have trash but the trash can never leave the house because there is no dump truck coming to get it. You can hold it for a day, two days, three days, four days, but little by little by little it keeps on accumulating and if it's accumulating and not getting out, the next thing... bugs are growing. And if the bugs are there, then there is a different kind of problem. They're cracking and opening your containers and getting everywhere in the house and everyone is falling sick. So in principle that's what happens when your organs of elimination are not working. So when we are talking about health, the first thing is that elimination has to happen. We relate to elimination as something we are eating and then we have to push it out and that's good. But there is something else called cellular elimination. After all, life is at the level of the cell. And when metabolic activities happen at the level of the cell, then the acid wastes that the cell makes have to be thrown out and they have to leave the body. Many major problems start at this level.
