Frequently Asked Questions about

Liver Cleanse

What is Liver Cleanse?
Liver Cleanse is a process where you clean out the liver so that the functionality of the liver is increased.

What process is used to clean the liver?
It is from natural products and relatively simple process of following a regiment. All the products you will consume are edible. A certain method of cleanse is followed that results in the cleansing of the liver.

What exactly is cleansed while you do the liver cleanse?
There are a lot of bile ducts in the liver whose function is to collect all the bile into the gallbladder, which then releases the bile for the digestion of fats. So Liver Cleanse's main function is to clean all these bile ducts so that the bile is released freely and there is no blockage in the bile ducts.

I thought the gallstones were present in the gallbladder, not the liver?
The gallstones are collected in the gallbladder. The literature indicates that they are actually formed in the liver in the bile ducts by precipitation of bile salts, dead cells and cholesterol. These accumulate, calcify and form the gallstones. Once these become large enough, just as bile collects in the gallbladder, these gallstones reach the gallbladder and that's where they sit. That's why the accumulation of gallstones is generally seen in the gallbladder. But the formation of these stones happens in the liver.

I have read that surgically removing of the gallbladder does not necessarily help in liver conditions or liver problems?
That's right. People who's gallbladder has been removed can still suffer from some of the symptoms caused by liver toxicity.

How long does it take to do the Liver Cleanse?
It's about a 12-hour process. The real cleanse takes place in about four hours. The rest of the time, you prepare the liver to go through the cleanse.

What is released and is it visible during the liver cleanse?
What you release are the gallstones. They can be of green color or of tan color. They can be different forms. If it is still cholesterol which is not yet calcified, then it can be fresh and raw like white rice looking. But yes, it is very visible. When you go to the bathroom, the gallstones come out. And they are visible, because cholesterol being lighter in weight, they float, whereas the stool generally sinks.

What sizes of gallstones can I expect to see?
It all varies from person to person. You can see small gallstones like white rice or very small size peas, regular peas up to lima bean or even cherry size. Their color can be tan, greener tan, dark tan or white.

So I have to be near the bathroom all the time while I'm doing the liver cleanse.
Yes and no. It takes about eight hours to prep the liver, and during this time, you won't necessarily have to go to the bathroom. Then during the four hours that it takes to cleanse the liver, you will be visiting the bathroom quite often, so in that time it is advisable that you stay close to the bathroom. But once you are done with the liver cleanse, you are not going to go all day long or for a longer period of time. Once it's done, it is completed.

How do I know if this cleanse is working?
There are many symptoms that are reflected in the body because of either a toxic liver or a liver that is not functioning to its maximum capacity. So after a liver cleanse, you expect those symptoms to go away. Clients have reported many benefits, for example, the back pain. Lower back pain is relieved. Upper back pain is relieved. The belching is relieved. Allergies will see improvement. Discomfort in the area of the liver has also been reported to go away after doing Liver Cleanse.

Would it be possible to release all the gallstones in one Liver Cleanse?
Not really. It depends. If you have never done a liver cleanse before, it might take a few cleanses before there are no gallstones coming out.

How many Liver Cleanses should I do in one year?
If you have done Liver Cleanses until no more gallstones are coming out, then one Liver Cleanse a year is sufficient for maintenance.

Should I go ahead and order a liver cleanse for my liver cleansing?
It's recommended that you call for a consultation before ordering any of the cleanses. The cleanses are always done in a certain sequence, depending on your health condition, your nutritional health, your age, your sex and other factors. So it's better to plan out which cleanse to do first prior to doing the Liver Cleanse. In general, Liver Cleanse is recommended at the end of a series where all the other cleanses have happened. It isn't a hard and fast rule but is recommended a majority of the time.

I have some health ailments, can a go ahead and do the liver cleanse.
For health ailments, please consult your healthcare practitioner to get some suggestions. We do not give out medical advice. If you have a fever or flu or are sick, then Liver Cleanse is not recommended at that time, until you recover.
