What is the Kidney Cleanse?
Kidney Cleanse is a process where you make your kidneys, which are major organs of elimination, work more efficiently.

How do I get kidney stones and does the Kidney Cleanse help it?
When the body is on the acidic side, the body starts to accumulate acid crystals in the body because all the waste in the body is now acidic in nature. So in all the organs of elimination, especially the kidneys where blood is filtered, these crystals start to concentrate. If they are never cleansed and if the body's biobalance remains off, then these crystals will accumulate little by little and form what are called kidney stones. When you do the Kidney Cleanse, it starts to dissolve those kidney stones and then they are passed in the urine.

Is there only one kind of kidney stone or can there be many kinds?
The body makes different kinds of acid waste. So, for example, there can be phosphate crystals; there can be oaxalic acid crystals; there can be uric acid crystals. It depends on what kind of crystallization is occurring in the body. But for sure there can be more than one kind of crystal, all of which can ultimately turn into stones.

Do I go the the bathroom all the time during this cleanse?
No. This cleanse is a quiet cleanse. You don't have to run to the bathroom. But if you drink lots of water, it will help you to flush the stones. So it is recommended that you increase your water consumption significantly to help flush out the kidneys so that they can function better.

Are there any teas or drinks involved?
Yes. You will make a drink from the herbs provided. And you consume a certain amount of that tea / drink each day for 26 days.

Is the tea distasteful?
No. If you do find yourself sensitive to the taste, you can add some flavoring, like cinnamon, spearmint, cherry, honey, licorice... whatever you like.

How do I know that the cleanse is working?
If you have any discomfort due to the kidney stones, that discomfort will start to go down, a sure indication that your kidneys are functioning better. If you have swelling in the legs when you sit down and that swelling starts to go down, this is another sign that the kidney cleanse is working. People have also reported that pains in the middle-lower back, where the kidneys are located, that pain starts to dissipate as the kidneys start functioning better.

I have a lot of water retention. Would the kidney cleanse help me?
Yes. Definitely. Water retention is the reflection of toxicity in the body. That toxicity, again, is the accumulation of acid waste. Whenever there is acid waste, little by little it starts to accumulate and the formation of stones occur. So in addition to dissolving the stones, if you have toxicity, then, kidney cleanse, being a cleanse of a major organ of elimination, is going to help you to bring down the swelling from water retention. However, you have to help also with your foods and lifestyle to support this activity. Consider a house that you are cleaning. At then end of the day, once you have cleaned the house, if you go out and bring a big amount of trash back into the house, then the house is going to be dirty again. So once you start cleansing, consider that you want to keep it clean and move forward.

My feet swell up if I stand or sit for a long time. Can Kidney Cleanse help?
Yes. Kidney Cleanse can definitely help. However, we can suggest some other activities that you can do to support your body to start flushing the system. When there is more accumulation of waste in the body, then the accumulation of water starts taking place to dilute the effects of the toxic waste.

I have some ailments; can I still do the Kidney cleanse?
All the cleanses provided at Slimmer Body are from herbal products, which are considered food items. So from the product perspective, they are not going to conflict with anything. However, if you are suffering from any health agent, you should get the permission of your healthcare provider to make sure that you have the ability to do the cleanse, because some discipline is needed. Keep in mind that we do not offer any medical assistance or medical guidance. We can show you the ingredients in the product and describe how it works. But it is your responsibility to check with you health practitioner if you want to before you do the Kidney cleanse.

I don't like to drink water. Am I supposed to drink water on the cleanse, or can I replace it with some other kind of drink?
No. You have to drink the water. If you start drinking any other thing, especially carbonated or other sugared drinks, then it's not considered water. These drinks will still be a load on the system which the kidneys are trying to get rid of. So you can't be drinking regular drinks, sugared drinks especially, while you are on the cleanse. Water is the best bet. Slimmer Body offers a special kind of hydration solution which is highly recommended during this cleanse.

You said that the body makes acid waste and that biobalance tests can tell if the body has gone completely acidic. Can we get that test done?
Yes. If you body is exposed to a lot of environmental pollution and you're abusing your system by drinking and smoking and eating processed foods and drinking sugared drinks, all this is heavy on the system. Once you put it in the system, the body has to handle it. Therefore, the body needs the necessary nutrients to be able to digest all that. If you don't provide it in your food it will start taking it from the body system to digest the food. Therefore, little by little, the body will start to become more acidic. You can do a biobalance test to tell us the state of the body. If your body tests acidic, you should quickly remedy the situation. The solution is available.

Are there any other activities that I can do to support my kidney function, aside from doing the Kidney Cleanse?
